Going Into the Christmas Break on a High-note

Exhausting. The last three days were sure tiring. Maybe because I came from just a lone rest day (Thursday) and have gone to my “demanding though flexible” job for the next 3 days. A few hours ago, I took my major examination in Environmental Biology class. Not one heck of a difficult type of exam, but afterwards, I feel like I’m going to be sick. And right now as I write this, I feel that my body is weakening and unusual chills begin to embrace me which I only get to feel whenever I’m about to be sick. Good thing, I don’t have a shift tonight so I can rest big time.

Anyway, the past two days seemed to have swung its good aura to the Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Football and Men’s Basketball teams of De La Salle University.

Awesome Weekend: De La Salle Green Archers Bring the Glory Back to Taft Avenue

**This entry is supposed to be published on the 14th of October. Forgive me for posting this late.

Friday evening (Oct 04). Worry was all you would see in my face, though I successfully tried to stifle fake smiles and fooled everyone with my bright aura. Saturday morning (Oct 05) would have been the most tiring and stressful day of the week if not for the Typhoon Santi that shortly visited the country. I couldn’t afford to lose any dose of hope, so as much as I could, I sought  the help of my friends whom I knew can lend  me a hand to solve my problem. To make everything clear, it’s the Final requirement in my Income and Business Taxation subject I’m talking about; and on that same day would our Finals examination for that class be held. Define EXTRA WEARY.

Although I didn’t want to go home just yet due to “some personal reasons”, I decided to finally give it up and looked for help. While browsing my Facebook Timeline upon arriving at home, abruptly a Facebook post caught my attention and to my surprise, I almost cried a shrill tone when I found out that the classes in all levels in Cavite were suspended due to the inclement weather. In this regard, I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THANKS, SOMEHOW, TO THE TYPHOON. Sounds selfish, but I admit it helped my cause. So there you go with another days of extension. I’ll just have to wait for the announcement of our examination come Monday, and I hope by that time, I’m geared enough to prepare for that judgment day.

Stressful Weekend, La Salle’s Comeback, and DLSU-Dasma-Got To Believe Issue

Stress

Today kicks off the Finals examination for the students of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas. Everyone is sort of preparing for the series of examinations that will determine if they’ll pass the subject they’re taking or not, but of course, we’d all want to pass. Fresh from last weekend’s curse-like challenges both in school and at work, I thank the heavens for giving me enough strength to surpass all of it and be able to stay sane.

Saturday afternoon (September 28). I’ve found out that our Final project for Income and Business Taxation subject was due last Tuesday. It almost freaked me out because I knew I wouldn’t have much time to prepare the bloody solution of whatever problem-solving my professor wanted us to solve. To add, on Sunday when my father celebrated his birthday, an online assessment was also due and I needed to work on double time before heading off to Makati for work. Thank goodness to my friend who reminded me of that school stuff. I had no proper sleep that day, and I really had to sacrifice it all for the love of school *coughs. Continue reading
