In short, taken for granted.
More than the recognitions, awards and little successes, I think the biggest lesson I learned this year is to embrace sadness and appreciate yourself more than ever.
When people don’t see your worth and appreciate you for who you are, it’s okay to feel sorry for yourself. It’s okay to drown yourself in sadness. It’s okay to just depend on your own. It’s okay to step backwards and hide in your shell.
I have read elsewhere that people who still count the money they just withdrew from the ATM have trust issues.
